High organic listing - page one or page two in Google - is where all companies hope their websites will feature. So if that is your hope, and the hopes of say 100 000 other people (conservatively speaking) running a similar or related type of business/service, how does one achieve this?
Strategically, high ranking is acieved through a collection of activites aimed at increasing your website's visibility to potential clients and to Google. The more visble one's website is, the greater the chance that people will click on it. Bottom line, the more clicks a website receives, the more relevant Google sees your website and guess what, the higher your website will rank.
Being more visible to Google:
This is achieved in the structure of the published website. Google bots will analyze a website based on the meta data, title pages, alt tags, h-tags, xml site maps, internal links, back links and most importantly the content. Take the time to do this correctly yourself or ensure your website designer/developer does.
Being more visible to potential clients:
This aspect of your website comes down to your online marketing strategy. Think about some of the potential avenues that users could be exposed to your url. This could take the form of online
advertising for example through Google AdWords, Facebook Ads or even banner placements, email stationery with website links, social media, submissions to online business directories and search engines.
These SEO ideas if implemented correctly and you maintain the activity, you're bound to achieve organic ranking success, and possibly that position on page one.
